Structure

The project has a duration of four years (April 2020-March 2024) and is organized in four Working Packages (WPs). The first WP is administrative, the last three are focused on different research activities.

WP1: Project Management
WP2: Security and dependability challenges for orchestrating data and network resources in 5G MEC
WP3: Orchestration of data and network resources for security and dependability in 5G MEC
WP4: Orchestration in a 5G-MEC Testbed

WP2

The target of this WP is to investigate and characterize security and dependability in the orchestration of data and network resources in 5G MEC. The WP is composed of three tasks.

T2.1: Study the current works on 5G-MEC architecture
T2.2: Evaluate and characterize security and dependability in 5G MEC
T2.3: Identify the impact of allocating data and network resources on security and dependability in 5G MEC

WP3

The target of this WP is to develop and analyze solutions for jointly orchestrating data and network resources for dependability and security in 5G MEC. The WP is composed of two tasks.

T3.1: Formulate the problem
T3.2: Develop and analyze solutions

WP4

The target of this WP is to develop a 5G MEC testbed on Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communciations and verify the proposed solutions. The WP is composed of two tasks.

T4.1: Implement and validate the 5G-MEC testbed
T4.2: Performance analysis of the innovative and intelligent solutions in the 5G testbed
